Now that Pride Month is officially upon us, countless high-fashion brands are showing their support by raising funds through the sale of themed merch capsules. Versace has long held ties to the LGBTQ+ community and has taken special interest in Pride Month over the years. Not only was the house’s founding father gay, Gianni Versace’s own sister Donatella was proudly named a Stonewall Ambassador during last year’s festivities.
The collection itself is an assemblage of eye-catching accessories, all of which features a Pride-themed rainbow palette alongside Versace name branding. A snapback cap and a bucket hat is joined by a pair of socks, boxer briefs with a multicolored waistband and a pair of leather slides.
A certain percentage of the proceeds from U.S.-generated sales will be donated to Pride Live, with European proceeds going to Arcigay—an Italian organization that works to combat violence, discrimination, and the violation of human and civil rights of LGBTQ+ people. The collection is available for purchase now online.
