Chris Gibbs and his Union LA shop have long been considered cultural ambassadors of streetwear, often connecting the US market with archive pieces and rare finds from across the “pond.” One of the hottest commodities found within Union’s doors are sneakers. Last coming together in 2018 with their joint Air Jordan 1 effort, Jordan Brand and the noted retailer are back in the lab, this time with a punchy Air Jordan 4 retro silhouette.
Following a swarm of leaks and teasers, we’re now granted a detailed look at the Union x Air Jordan 4 Retro “Off Noir.” Although details remain vague, the lead-off palette consists of a mix combining “Off Noir/Brigade Blue-Dark Smoke Grey-Light Fusion Red,” with a yet-to-be-seen version waiting in the wings. It is believed that an unrevealed “Guava Ice/Light Bone-Brigade Blue-Light Fusion Red” version will drop as an exclusive only to Union.
The Union x Air Jordan 4 Retro “Off Noir” is set to release on August 15 at all Union locations, and is said to be followed up with a matching apparel line. In case you missed it earlier, be sure to check out the YEEZY BOOST 700 MVNN “Bone.”
