To the joy of streetwear aficionados far and wide, Stüssy and Nike have once again hit refresh on their collaborative partnership with the unveiling of an all-new capsule. Over the years, the West Coast skate brand has reengineered a swarm of signature Nike staples, including snazzy reworks on the Air Max 95 and SB Blazer, respectively. As was first announced back in November, we now have images of the duo’s new capsule, which teams a pair of Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 iterations alongside a set of cozy casuals.
Offered in “Pure Platinum/Black-White” and “Fossil/Black-Fossil,” both variants are structured in the same framework, although differ in their individual material makeup. The former makes creative use of engineered mesh placed overtop a tonal black base with metallic silver overlays breaking up the upper region. Elsewhere, the healthy hits of glossy black swathing the rear and side Swoosh contrast fittingly against the clean white midsole. The latter, on the other hand, gives rise to tan-hued canvas up top—divided between solid panels and textured mesh—with black finding a home on the side and rear branding.
Accompanying the sneaker drop is an apparel capsule comprised of monochromatic sweats alongside a spacious tote bag. Included is a two-piece heathered grey set with a co-branded badge resting along the top left region, in addition to a tonal black, long-sleeved crewneck stamped with Nike Swooshes circling the upper collar.
The Stüssy x Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 and matching apparel will drop in tandem through Stüssy’s web store today. In other collaborative streetwear news, Supreme and Timberland join forces once again.
