Italian-based label, Stone Island, has long been revered for crafting utilitarian-style sportswear twisted with an avant-garde edge. The outerwear specialist’s forthcoming Spring/Summer 2020 collection portrays this aesthetic poignantly with its all-new Ghost range of technical tops. Last year’s brushed cotton nylon material effectively set the stage for the new Poliestere Stretch 5L fabric fashioned from ultra-fine polyester. Stone Island’s latest invention addresses wind, water and breathability sensibilities, while also providing ample insulation for when temps plummet south.
Artistically on par with past releases, the Spring/Summer 2020 Ghost range is comprised of functionally-sound outerwear options, including a Mac coat, an M-65-style jacket and a half-zip utility vest in monochromatic shades of blue and green with healthy doses of black and white dispersed throughout. A crewneck knit pullover, in addition overshirts, pants and shorts help round out the new offering, resulting in a warm-weather range worthy of any Stone Island collector.
