First making its debut along Shanghai, China’s Minsheng Art Wharf last summer, Prada recently released official campaign images from its forthcoming Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Through the watchful eye of photographer extraordinaire, David Sims, the luxury label’s latest lookbook calls attention to a trio of artists who continuously push their respective disciplines beyond the confines of tedious convention.
R&B crooner, Frank Ocean, is joined by actor, Austin Butler, and director/screenwriter/producer, Nicolas Winding Refn, each of whom can be seen fronting signature wares from the high-fashion house.
Colors remain subdued, with soft shades of brown, blue and grey making their way onto a bevy of menswear essentials, namely, button-down shirts, trousers, blazers and other such outerwear. Prada placed silhouette styles high atop its priority list, pairing slouchy trousers with boxy blazers and form-fitting tops. As a creative twist to its own name, Prada employed a number of acronyms brought on by the confluence of abstract ideas. In Ocean’s case, the words Programming, Rythym, And, Dancing, Again work together, not only to spell out the label’s name, but to subjectively describe the musician’s persona.
Speaking of noteworthy seasonal campings, Rami Malek recently fronted Saint Laurent’s latest lookbook.
