Just this past November, Prada and adidas flipped the sneaker industry on its head with the unexpected release of the collaborative Superstar “Optic White” silhouette. Making its debut only a few short weeks ago, the heavyweight duo appear to be back in the lab with three new iterations on the horizon. In conjunction with the aforementioned drop, the pair have chosen to keep the Superstar narrative in play, remixing the classic Three Stripes model in a trio of subtle color schemes.
Leaked by noted sneaker account @py_rates_, the new designs will closely follow the pair’s first creation, with the text “MADE IN ITALY” debossed alongside the lateral rear. Other points of interest include subsequent branding on the tongue region to go along with adidas’ instantly-recognizable trefoil logo and Prada’s customary name branding. Look for the Prada x adidas Superstar to drop in “White/Black,” “Black/White,” and “Silver/Silver” sometime in March. Stay tuned for more details as they become available.
