L.A. streetwear magnate PLEASURES keeps its summer campaign moving forward with yet another noteworthy offering. Over the past few weeks, the brand has unleashed a swarm of seasonal staples into the wild, including a collaborative footwear silhouette alongside Reebok. Next up for PLEASURES is a joint offering with multifaceted artist Marilyn Manson. Best known for his band’s contentious sound and sinister, goth-esque aesthetic, Manson is also an acclaimed actor, producer, and visual artist.
Both parties have since converged on a graphic-heavy garment range, brimming with artistic inflections central to who Manson is as an artist. For instance, a camo-printed short-sleeve tee with the singer’s Antichrist Superstar album name emblazoned on the front and PLEASURES name branding positioned on the back stands out as a key piece, as does the white and black camp shirt stamped with Manson’s face on the front. More of the artist’s watercolor paintings and album name’s—Portrait of an American Family and Mechanical Animals—can be seen scattered across a host of other pieces.
