Building off the strength of last year’s collaborative Spring/Summer range, Palace has once again looked to the creative stylings of French/Moroccan artist Jean Charles de Castelbajac. For this year’s seasonal assemblage, more of the creative’s signature scrawls can be seen strewn across a broad range of casual classics.
A colorful assortment of hoodies and tees juxtapose Palace’s instantly-recognizable Tri-Ferg logo against de Castelbajac’s own “jcc+” emblem, while others call a series of pop-art-style imagery into play. For example, hearts, crowns, teddy bears, stars, thunderbolts, and other graphics end up underscoring a small assortment of crewneck pullovers and button-down shirts. Last, but certainly not least, the pair chose to inflect a swarm of bucket hats and snapback caps with much of same imagery used to accent the main line.
The collaborative capsule between Palace and Jean Charles de Castelbajac will see an online release come June 26 via Palace’s official web store. In other fashion news, PLACES+FACES recently unveiled its first drop of the SS20 season.
