In no way new by any stretch of the imagination, Nike’s infamous Blazer silhouette has been entrenched within footwear’s greater sneaker sphere for the better part of 40 years now. With that said, the retro runner has undergone its fair share of reworks over the last little while, with such visionaries as Cactus Plat Flea Market, sacai, and Slam Jam employing their own innovative twists to the mid-top shoe. Nike has since bolstered the model’s legacy with an all-new variant on the horizon.
A “Vast Grey” leather panel formulates the upper, with a “Metallic Red Bronze” snakeskin-printed Swoosh underling the lateral side region. Elsewhere, that same reptilian textile mentioned above mirrors itself on the rear collar brand badge. Suede panels found along the toe cap and side areas add, both, textural and tonal contrast, all of which, sits atop a chunky, “Sail”-toned outsole.
Set to a retail price of $100 USD, the new Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Vintage is available for purchase now via Nike’s web store. In case you missed it earlier, adidas’s YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 will soon drop in a “Marsh” color scheme.
