The Jordan Brand name has been deeply entrenched within the highly-competitive sneaker space for years, finding a home on the hardcourt, while simultaneously posting up on street corners the world over. As the new year progressed, JB introduced a brand-new model that echoes the same design sentiments as its famous predecessors, although in a manner that stylishly disrupts its own catalog. Introducing the Jordan Air Max 200 “White/Black/Challenge Red.”
Drawing obvious comparisons to the Air Jordan 4, the new model is characterized by its Max 200 Air unit, offering its wearer unbridled comfort and added durability. A healthy mix of material and synthetics formulate the upper, with a breathable mesh cage informing the lateral side. Clean white can be seen blanketing the entire base with sharp hits of black intertwined here and there. Red makes its present felt on the signature Air bag, while decorative speckles amp up the midsole. As far as branding goes, a “Nike Air” symbol takes up space on the heel, while a Jordan-branded “MAX-200” label underscores the tongue tab.
The new Jordan Air Max 200 will make its retail debut for a price of $126 USD and is now available at all Jordan Brand retailers. In other sneaker news, be sure to check out Nike and maharishi’s joint Air Max 720 capsule.
