Not new by any stretch of the imagination, high-end fashion houses, for years, have devised their own sneaker silhouettes in an accompanying manner to that of their respective main lines. However, given the recent confluence set between luxury and sportswear, such labels are now garnering unbridled attention for their footwear creations. With that said, Dior recently took the wraps off a new iteration of its popular B23 high-top.

Conceptually in line with past releases, the new “Bleu”-hued runner also gives way to the house’s Oblique print, which runs rampant throughout the entire upper. Elsewhere, an assortment of translucent RPU overlays found on the eyestay, collar and heel region add innovative depth to its overall composition. The navy-tinged toe cap, midsole and heel loop add warm color contrast to the heavy use of white found throughout, while the decorative Dior nameplate hitting the lateral side adds the finishing touch to Kim Jones’s eccentric design.

Set to a retail price of $1,000 USD, the all-new Dior B23 High “Blue” can be picked up now at select Dior retailers. Elsewhere in the sneaker world, Nike recently remade the Air Flight ’89 in “True Blue.”
