To say 2020 has undergone its fair share of catastrophic events would be an understatement to say the least. On the plus side, however, many brand builders have refocused their efforts in the name of goodwill, fashioning charitable items to help benefit targeted communities. Kyle Ng’s Brain Dead imprint has since aligned with Italian retailer Slam Jam on such a piece, this time aimed at Mediterranea—a nonprofit organization that rescues vulnerable European migrants on the Mediterranean Sea.
The black tee calls attention to a front-facing design featuring an ornate graphic combining several abstract elements, with the phrase “Il Mio Sangue E Rosso Come Il Tuo,” which translates to “My Blood is Red Like Yours” hovering around. On the rear, Brain Dead’s infamous head emblem gets spliced with Slam Jam branding emblazoned along the top.
The collaborative Brain Dead x Slam Jam Mediterranea Charity Tee will be up for grabs through Slam Jam’s web store starting July 21. In other fashion news, PLEASURES and Marilyn Manson unveiled their joint capsule collection.
