The recent confluence between streetwear and high-end luxury can no longer be ignored, thanks in part to the likes of Louis Vuitton and Supreme coming together in a highly lucrative, yet disruptive fashion. And now, with the meeting point between both worlds riding at an all-time high, BAPE and Coach have since linked up to the tune of a new collection.
Fronted by Quincy Brown and Mitsuki Kimura, the visuals give rise to a set of staples, including signature outerwear and accessories. A chocolate brown leather puffer stands alone as the capsule’s key piece, with Coach’s “C” monogram emblem and BAPE’s signature ape head utilized as the chief artistic touch points. Elsewhere, a crewneck pullover underlined by the same logo configuration was made to impress, much in the same way as the printed leather clutch.
As it stands now, release details for BAPE & Coach’s collaborative offering still has yet to be disclosed, however, be sure to check back for updates as they become available. In case you missed it earlier, be sure to check out Tom Sachs’s NIKECRAFT Transitions collection.
