This year marks the 20th-anniversary of the iconic BAPESTA, and with that milestone, BAPE will reissue the low cut version in a familiar, yet insanely popular print style. The Japanese stalwart will revive the “ABC CAMO” pattern on a trio of classic colorways, including green, blue and pink.
Canvas panels swathe the upper with tonal white stitching providing subtle contrast throughout. Elsewhere, a white patent leather shooting star motif underscores both, the lateral and medial side panels, while a BAPE STA emblem accents the tongue tab. Other points of interest include an embroidery patch meant to elevate the heel counter, on top of the silver-toned dubrae locks and white metal eyelets that complete the retro runner’s lacing system. Lastly, a cored-out midsole, complete with a raised BAPE logo sitting comfortably on the rear side rounds out the design.
The BAPE BAPESTA LOW “ABC CAMO” 20th-Anniversary release will make its way to A BATHING APE locations on January 25. In related news, BAPE and Dr. Martens joined forces on a new 1460 boot rework.
