In a move that has Anti Social Social Club poking fun at past operational issues, the famed streetwear imprint has unveiled images of a new capsule alongside the United States Postal Service. Several years ago, ASSC found itself on the business end of countless hissy fits triggered by shipping delays that had its loyal fanbase impatiently waiting by the wayside. The brand respectfully owned up to its shortcomings and found a way to rehabilitate its sartorial presence amongst its many followers.
The capsule offers a playful take on delivery service uniforms that have been twisted through Neek Lurk’s distorted design prism. As such, a zipped jacket and a short-sleeved button-down shirt is met with a range of hoodies and tees, each of which juxtaposes USPS logo badges against signature Anti Social Social Club name branding. Rounding out the thematic drop is a wide-brimmed crusher hat and a snapback-style cap underscored by the same branding cues found throughout.
The full USPS x Anti Social Social Club capsule will make its debut on May 30 and can be found through ASSC’s official web store. In case you missed it earlier, Matthew Williams and Stüssy unveiled their new “California Cotton” collection.
