Proving to be more and more and popular with each passing year, sneaker brands are pulling out signature silhouettes from deep within their vaults to reengineer in new and innovative ways. Jordan Brand has proven masterful at this tactic, continuously refreshing archival classics from yesteryear. Next up for Michael Jordan’s namesake brand is a familiar favorite in the Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red.”
The 1989 throwback’s premium leather upper is interrupted by customary cage netting informing the side panels and vamp, with red & black TPU accents breaking up the clean white base. A Nike Air emblem hitting the back, along with the label’s infamous Jumpman logo formulate the key branding characteristics, however, calls attention to flipped “Air Jordan” accents along the inner tongue tab. Last but not least, a tricolored sole unit, consisting of red, grey and white sitting below does well to tie everything together.
