In celebration of the Superstar’s 50th anniversary, adidas Originals has enlisted the directorial expertise of Jonah Hill to work on its latest campaign. Some of the sportswear giant’s most influential ambassadors were assembled in Change Is a Team Sport, showcasing each and every one of them cloaked in statement Three Stripes gear—alongside the celebratory runner of course.
Ninja, Kerwin Frost, BLACKPINK, Pharrell, Yara Shahidi, Anitta, Mariah Duran, Mark Gonzales, Blondey, Tyshawn Jones, Liz Cambage, Paul Pogba, NIGO, Jackson Wang, Chris Severn, Mette Towley, Tracy McGrady, Anna Isoniemi and Hill himself are joined by the campaign’s star, Jenn Sotto. The young skater can be seen cruising through a grandiose facility, whizzing by each creative whom all are engulfed within their own respective disciplines.
When asked to comment on the new adidas initiative, Hill had the following to say, “There’s no knowledge without the older generation who did it first. And there’s no change or progression without the new generation. So if those two generations come together, I feel like that creates the atomic charge for great art and great creativity.”
Along with the campaign, adidas will launch a series of initiatives aimed to spark positive change in global communities throughout 2020. Be sure to stay tuned for more details. Meanwhile, in other Three Stripes news, the new YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Marsh” is expected to drop later this spring.
