In our last look at Stone Island, the luxury label dropped off its Spring/Summer 2020 Ghost range, bringing an assortment of simplistic outerwear staples to the table. Never one to rest on its laurels, the Italian-based brand returns to the spotlight with a six-piece capsule intended for noted retailer, Browns.
Comprised of statement outerwear, crewneck pullovers and trousers, the offering’s key piece is a technical parka adorned in a 3C-PU Desert Camo print. Exclusive only to Brown’s, the distinct military-informed pattern is forged from a 3-color pigment process that has been finalized with a raised, shiny polyutherane print. The jacket’s based is derived from a cocktail of durable cotton reps and twisted Cordura yarn.
“Stone Island is a brand ingrained in British youth and street culture. Initially adopted on the terraces in the ’80s, Stoney has grown to be one of the most important in streetwear. Renowned for boundary-pushing technology and innovative fabrics, the brand is constantly evolving and used as a testbed in garment technology,” explained by Browns menswear buyer, Lee Goldup.
