Since 2007, Raf Simons and noted accessories purveyor, Eastpak, have co-created a series of bags that converge style and substance in ways only the two sides can. The new offering sees the duo link up for the 10th time, with an all-new set of designs aimed at the Spring/Summer 2020 season. Inspired by the luxury designer’s SS20 runway range, a cluster of eccentric designs—complete with star patterns and other such sci-fi themes—do well to supply each wearer a piece worthy of its very own sartorial statement.
The Padded Doubler resembles a traditional backpack silhouette, however, calls attention to a grouping of metal loops that connect the tonal black face to a pair of external storage compartments. Also included is the Pocketbag Loop model, which is distinctly fashioned from four radically different pouches bound in place by more metal rings.
The new Raf Simons x Eastpak Spring/Summer 2020 collection will retail around the $470 USD mark and will make its way to select stockists in the coming weeks ahead. Speaking of noteworthy collaborations, Kith and NemeN linked up on a bold tie-dye capsule.
