PARTYNEXTDOOR Finally Drops His Anticipated “PARTYMOBILE’ Project

RiRi makes a surprise appearance.
OVO Sounds/Warner Records

Since first breaking out onto the scene in 2013 with his debut mixtape of the same name, PARTYNEXTDOOR has made a tremendous impact on the current state of R&B. The enigmatic artist, who knowingly steers clear of the public eye, is back in a big way with his latest release dubbed PARTYMOBILE. Strategically building momentum over the past few weeks, which of course includes the hit smash, “Loyal” alongside OVO head, Drake, PARTY lays out his seductive sonics over the project’s expansive 15-track set.

Aside from Drake and Bad Bunny, who each bless the remix version of “Loyal,” RiRi, herself makes an appearance, hopping on the track “Believe It.” Nostalgically reminiscent of the “Quiet Storm” ‘90s, the tune proposes a sultry exchange between both, with each painting a picture of a blossoming romance rife with challenges laid out before them. PARTYNEXTDOOR can be heard belting out “If you leave me I’m skull and bones/I’m dead baby,” to which Rihanna echoes back with, “You best make me believe it.”
