Nicole McLaughlin is doing her part to help raise funds for the #BlackLivesMatter movement. The uber talented DIY artist is joining the likes of Fear of God, Balenciaga and so many others in standing up against hurtful racially-charged acts. On that note, McLaughlin fashioned six different one-of-one pieces to be raffled off as donations to several noteworthy causes.
A utility vest forged from different Arc’Teryx backpacks is joined by a pair of Patagonia house slippers, a The North Face-centric folding lawn chair, a laptop bag made from a The North Face vest, and a Carhartt Duck canvas laptop sleeve.
Originally teased via Instagram, McLaughlin will raffle off each item, with 100 percent of the proceeds being donated to BlackVisions, Innocence Project, BlackLivesMatter, and Know Your Rights Camp. The raffle is open now with tickets set at $10 USD a pop and will commence on June 12 as they last day to purchase.
Be sure to check out Nicole McLaughlin’s Instagram post below for more information on the raffle. In case you missed it earlier, Conway the Machine dropped the track “Front Lines” as a response to systemic racism.
