Yohji Yamamoto and New Era flaunt a relationship that dates back to 2013. Since then, the dynamic duo have served up a swarm of innovative capsules that not only spans caps and beanies, but a wide range of accessory options to boot. The iconic headwear purveyor are in the midst of its momentous 100th anniversary celebration, and have once again turned to the Japanese design maverick for artistic guidance.
“MASTERPIECE CAP” brings together an array of past styles from some of the pair’s most notable drops. Included in the collaborative release are a range of tees taken from their 2017 Fall/Winter offering, in addition to some monochromatic caps first seen in the floral-heavy Spring/Summer 2018 range. Caps and T-shirts aside, the commemorative collection also culls together a selection of branded apparel, including a varsity-style jacket and long-sleeved crewnecks, which teams fittingly alongside a selection of crusher hats and bag options.
Scheduled to drop on April 15, you can find New Era’s 100th anniversary “MASTERPIECE CAP” collection at New Era Japan’s web store. In case you missed it earlier, be sure to check out Mountains Research’s 4 Zips sweatshirt.
