When Drake and Future first linked up in 2016 with What a Time to Be Alive, many, both within the industry and peering in from afar, playfully joked that such a duo formed an alliance to powerful to effectively compete with. And now, after weeks of teasing what many believed to be all but inevitable, Drizzy and Future eventually hopped back in the booth to deliver their first project since WATTBA, titled, “Life is Good.”

The accompanying video portrays an alternate universe; one in which sees both rappers take on traditional 9-5 gigs, including sanitation disposal, electronic equipment sales and even working the drive-thru window at a makeshift burger joint.

Drizzy kicks things off, appearing to take shots at one-time collaborator, Kanye West, with the line, “N*ggas gotta move off my release day, huh,” likely referring to the flurry of GOOD Music albums that hit the scene around the same time Scorpion was set to drop. Roughly halfway through the track, a thumping bass line sets the stage for Future’s melodic flow, with the Freebandz hitmaker spitting out line-after-line of witty innuendos.
