An assemblage of every Supreme Box-Logo T-shirt ever created.

Aside from producing thematic capsule collections that test the boundaries of traditional design tenets, Supreme has made headlines this year for reasons other than an anticipated drop date. Following news of the brand’s impending absorption into VF Corporation comes word of an uber rare shirt collection due to hit the auction block next month. With that in mind, Christie’s is set to hold an event for “The Box Logo Collection”—a reserve of what is believed to be every Supreme Box-Logo T-shirt ever created.

The eye-catching assemblage was amassed by 21-year-old James Bogart, who began collecting the branded tees back in 2014. Christie’s expects “The Behind the Box: 1994-2000” auction to fetch upwards of $2 million USD, likely eclipsing the streetwear stalwart’s impressive 248 skate deck collection. As can only be expected, the Supreme stockpile houses some rare archival gems, one of which is the WTAPS Box Logo T-shirt from 1999. With only 30 in existence, the cult classic logo was laid onto a NEIGHBORHOOD blank and was sold for over a whopping $35,000 USD despite not being formally released.

“The Behind the Box: 1994-2000” auction will be set up by Christie’s in New York City and will be listed as a private sale on December 1. For more on the collection, be sure to visit its official site. In case you missed it earlier, Palace unveiled its Holiday 2020 collection.
